What is glë?

glë® is a refreshing liquid prenatal vitamin drink formulated with the doctor recommended vitamins and minerals needed to fully support you and your baby’s development during conception, pregnancy, and breastfeeding. Unlike traditional prenatal vitamin pills, glë tastes great, and is easy to consume.

Is glë® a replacement for my prenatal multivitamin pills?

Yes! glë® is a once daily liquid prenatal vitamin drink that completely replaces the need for taking for taking traditional prenatal multivitamin pills which are large and difficult to swallow. Since some people have unique dietary requirements, it is important to speak with your doctor before starting any supplement.

Does glë® contain folate/folic acid? Why is it important?

All glë drinks contain 800 micrograms of Folic Acid. Folate, or folic acid, is a type of B vitamin that helps prevent severe neural tube birth defects such as spina bifida. Doctors recommend taking a supplement containing folic acid starting from the earliest possible stage when you are trying to conceive.

Does glë® contain DHA?

gle® 16.9oz Peach Apricot and Mango Citrus products contain DHA.

How many calories are in glë™?

A 16.9oz glë® has 60 calories. A 3oz glë® Bump has 10 calories per bottle.

Does glë® contain any caffeine?

No caffeine in glë®.

How is glë® different from other pregnancy drinks?

glë® is regulated by the FDA as a supplement. It is the only liquid prenatal vitamin drink that replaces the need for taking traditional prenatal multivitamin pills, which are large and difficult to swallow. Other prenatal drinks on the market are only "complementary", meaning that they cannot replace taking prenatal multi-vitamin pills.

Is my daily diet still important if i’m taking glë®?

Absolutely! Vitamins and minerals from food are always the best source, so you should use your prenatal vitamin supplement in conjunction with a healthy balanced diet. Speak to your doctor or nutritionist about how to manage your diet during pregnancy.

What’s wrong with taking prenatal gummy vitamins?

Most prenatal gummy vitamins don’t contain a full regimen of the doctor recommended vitamins and minerals. Often, they contain less than half of what doctors recommend and many don’t contain iron.

What’s wrong with prenatal powder mixes?

When should I start taking glë® and for how long?

Your baby’s development starts at conception, so your baby – and your body – need the right vitamins and minerals as early as possible when you are trying to conceive, throughout your pregnancy, and while breastfeeding.

Can I also take my prenatal vitamin pills in combination with glë®?

Prenatal vitamin pills should not be taken while using glë®. glë® is designed to completely replace prenatal vitamin pills and, because the vitamins and minerals in glë™ are similar in dose, it would be like taking two pills at once. One glë® each day is all you need. Put away the pills!

Can I drink glë® every day?

Yes! glë® is designed to be consumed once daily and replace your regular prenatal multivitamin pill. In fact, some women prefer to drink glë® in place of a regular daily multivitamin.

Can I drink more than one glë® per day?

glë® is designed for once daily consumption only. It is not recommended to consume more than one per day.

Is glë® all natural?

We are on a journey to make only products that are safe and natural. Although the FDA does not have a definition of “natural,” what we can say is that our drinks are made without any artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners and our 16.9oz glë® ready-to-drink is made without the use of any preservatives.

Are the vitamins and minerals in glë™ USP grade?

Not all vitamins and minerals are available in USP grade, however, we use all forms that are available as USP grade.

What does 'USP' mean?

USP is a organization known as the U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention. This organization of scientists sets the standards for the quality and purity of the vitamins and minerals used in making, among other things, medicines and dietary supplements. The standards and rules set by USP are enforced by the FDA as well as similar regulatory agencies in more than 140 countries.
